YOUTH PROGRAM
The youth and children’s program has been part of BSK’s strategy and operations effectively for the last 13 years. The program was initially intended to reach out to youth and children through rallies, seminars, visits to churches, schools, colleges and Universities, children’s Homes and other youth communities for evangelism, nurture and encouragement.
Though the programme has evolved over time to include other activities, the focus to pursue the Mission of BSK has been maintained. We have participated in youth camps and conventions, organized concerts, retreats, competitions and indoor activities for individual youth and children organizations.Through such activities and visits, we have been able to avail relevant scriptures to youth and children, as well as promote the work of BSK among the youth and children of our country. Young people have been recruited as members of BSK. Many young people have also committed their lives to Christ as their Lord and Savior. Others have been counseled and helped to move on with life. The youth programme also has over time been keen to include outreach to Persons with Visual Disability (PWVDs).The Literacy activities have also been managed through the youth programme.

Our attention in 2010 is to engage more young people with the Word of God through a Secondary schools Bible competition program expected to cover 10 regions in Kenya and culminate with a national event before the end of the year. Young people keep your eye on this.
