The Department is part of the Operations Division at Bible Society of Kenya.

BASU is charged with the development and implementation of Scripture use programmes that ensure all people in Kenya engage with God’s word meaningfully for transformation of lives.
The programmes under BASU department are project- based, which involves proposal writing to seek for funding. Keen monitoring and evaluation of each project is closely managed to ensure we meet expectations of our target audiences and the donors.
