5 Verses on God our Helper
Do you experience moments where you wonder whether God exists? Indeed, there are moments when life’s challenges can push us to the wall, and we get stuck as human beings wondering where to turn for help.
The Bible has examples of people whom God helped in moments when they did not have solutions to their situations.
In 1 Kings 17:8-16, the widow of Zarephath served prophet Elijah her last meal upon his request. This marked an unending supply as her jar of oil and bin of flour never got used up according to the word of the Lord spoken through Elijah. God used Elijah to bring this miracle to this widow and their son.
Another case in point is the story of Abraham. He was ready to offer his son as a sacrifice in obedience to God’s command. When we acknowledge God as our source, He always provides in miraculous ways.
May we be encouraged to know that despite how hard things may seem, God is our helper and we can depend on Him. Here are some verses to encourage you.
