Finally! An app that will enable Christians to buy Bibles, donate to support different programmes, register for membership and renew membership subscription has been launched.

Bible Society of Kenya held the Bible app launch on June 4th, 2021 virtually on zoom. The event was attended by individuals from different parts of the globe, who turned up to witness this great milestone.

By introducing this app, the Society seeks to ease the availability of Bibles and accessibility of God’s Word to all irrespective of the geographical location of individuals.

The guest speaker was Pastor T. Mwangi who noted that it is the Word of God that will transform generations now and in the future. He emphasized that the introduction of this app will enable people to access the Bible hence leading to a transformed community because of interacting with the living Word.

Speaking during the launch, Mr. Sam Wanyoike, IT Infrastructure Manager, Global IT Services at the United Bible Societies thanked BSK for attaining this great milestone of adapting to the changing technological environment. He added that Bible Societies aim at ensuring everyone can access and engage with the Bible for a transformed future.

Mrs. Elizabeth Muriuki, General Secretary & CEO Bible Society of Kenya, noted that that BSK aims to see people transformed by the use of Holy Scriptures hence this app will enable more people to access the Word. She added that the app will ease access to BSK services by the public. She encouraged the participants to download the app and spread the message widely to increase the level of Bible ownership.
