It was a privilege to attend the first ever Kajiado County prayer breakfast held at KCB grounds in Kajiado on April 4th 2019.
The breakfast event brought together delegates from Kajiado County Government, invited guests from other Counties, Church leaders, Non Governmental organizations, business community and residents to pray for the County.
The Chief Guest was Hon. Joseph Ole Lenku who expressed his gratitude to all the guests who attended the event. He noted that, in prayer, we all have refuge we can take shelter in. In fact, most us attribute the positions we hold and all that we have achieved in life, to the mere power of prayers; The power of talking to God; The power of engaging in a robust relationship with our Maker; The power of acknowledging that there are mortal powers that make or destroy our lives.
He noted that when we put our hope and trust in God, all things will be possible.
BSK got a chance to talk about her programmes and activities as well as showcase the Revised Maasai Bible which was launched in August 2018.
It is indeed a blessing to see our leaders acknowledge the sovereignty of God in their leadership.
