Centre. The fair was the 21st edition and was themed “books for nurturing skills.”

The forum brought together writers, authors, publishers, publishing house owners and printers from Africa and beyond. Exhibitors were drawn from various countries including; China, Uganda, Korea, United States, India, Tanzania and Kenya. The event is organized by the Kenya Publishers Association, the body that brings together key stakeholders in the publishing industry in Kenya.

The expo was officially opened by Hon. Raila Odinga the Kenyan immediate former Prime Minister who gave his word of wisdom. He challenged the gathering by urging them to grab any opportunity to acquire knowledge because knowledge is power.

The event brought together people of all age groups ranging from parents, teachers, students, librarians, bookshop owners, politicians, printers and the general public. It was a good opportunity for BSK to interact with her customers and respond to queries on BSK products, programmes and membership. The forum also helped gathering feedback on the products offered and the clients’ preferences.

BSK appreciates all the guests who visited our stand and trust that our interaction will be fruitful both now and in the future.
