Bible Society of Kenya held a Life Essentials Study Bible training on March 13th, 2024, at the Africa Brotherhood Church (ABC) in Machakos.

The training aimed to equip the 44 Clergy who oversee 85 ABC Churches on the use of the Life Essentials Study Bible (LESB) and its essential teachings.

The Bible contains unique features that are beneficial to the Clergy members including, Interpretation of key biblical passages, application of biblical teachings in everyday life, understanding the historical context of the Bible and using the Life Essentials Study Bible as a resource for sermon preparation.

Interactive sessions and group discussions were incorporated into the session to encourage active participation and foster a deeper understanding of the material presented.

The Clergy actively engaged in discussion sessions and showed enthusiasm for learning and applying the teachings of the Life Essentials Study Bible in their ministries. They appreciated the training, noting that it was a valuable opportunity for them to enhance their knowledge and understanding of the Bible.

The participants further indicated a desire to implement BSK programmes in their Churches and community at large. We thank God for the opportunity to empower Church leaders with resources to enhance their ministries.
