Bible Society of Kenya continues to empower young leaders through the Africa Biblical leadership initiative.

In 2020 the sessions were held virtually, and we managed to train 126 youth. The online space enabled us to reach many youth Countrywide and we are glad that youth are taking on leadership roles in different sectors.

Through this training, youth are mentored in different topics including Self-awareness, Leadership skills, Public speaking, Personal branding, Good governance, Ethics, Entrepreneurship, and Wellness are being undertaken and this is crowned by Community Service.

Here are some amazing testimonies from the ABLI 2020 class

“ABLI has grown my passion for God’s people and equipped me to be more relevant and efficient as a leader” Agnes Mutethya, ABLI 2020 graduand.

ABLI has made me understand many aspects of leadership and professionalism, leading with Emotional intelligence and using storytelling skills to influence people. I feel empowered as a leader. Emmanuel Osano, ABLI 2020 graduand.

After six months of training, the mentees are normally attached to mentors who help them grow in their leadership journey. We desire that the youth shall inspire ethical leadership in their spheres of influence and their community at large.

We are currently recruiting young people to join this life-transforming programme. See the poster below for more details.
