The Bible Society of Kenya’s Machakos branch held a prayer breakfast meeting on 27th July 2023. The event brought together brethren from different denominations for a moment of fellowship and prayer. It was a gathering filled with faith, unity, and a shared desire to uplift the nation.

Bible Society of Kenya operates through branches that help us to reach the grassroots levels. Every branch has a management team that reports to the head office and carries out BSK mandate in their regions.

Members of the Bible Society of Kenya Machakos branch, along with clergy and community members from various Churches convened at the All-Souls Cathedral, Machakos town to pray for the nation, the Church and for Bible work in the Country.

The meeting commenced with a heartfelt welcome and a call to prayer. Members took turns to pray for our beloved nation, Kenya, seeking divine guidance, peace, and prosperity for all its citizens. The members also fervently lifted their voices, asking for blessings upon the organization’s efforts to distribute Bibles and promote the use of the Bible across the Country. They prayed for the success of BSK’s mission, that it may continue to touch the lives of countless individuals and bring them closer to God.

With hearts filled with empathy the attendees prayed for the Church in Kenya to be united among the various denominations, for the leaders to be guided by wisdom, and for the congregations to be strengthened in their faith.

The General Secretary Mrs. Elizabeth Muriuki talked about BSK’s programmes and encouraged the participants to be actively involved in implementation of the Society’s programmes as they will benefit the community in Machakos. We thank God for a successful meeting.
