The Society reached 130 students with the word of God through the Open the Book Programme on May 3rd, 2023.
The aim of the fun day was to engage children with God’s word so that they may grow knowing the truth. The children who came from different parts of Embu County and its environs were eager to interact with each other while learning God’s word. The Open the Book volunteers dramatized the story of the wise king from the storyteller book. This helped the children to relate with the story and apply lessons in their lives.
Other activities of the day included boy/girl mentorship sessions, games session and awarding of gifts to winners in different categories. Our desire is to see young ones grow in the knowledge of God’s word so that it may light their paths in all they do.
