Acts 17:26 – From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.
Algeria stands as a vast North African nation stretching from the Mediterranean coast into the depths of the Sahara Desert, home to nearly fifty million people shaped by rich Arab and Amazing heritage. In a land where Islam forms the dominant spiritual identity, a small yet growing community of believers continues to seek God with quiet resilience and faith. The northern cities carry much of the population and influence, while remote regions hold deep spiritual hunger and opportunity for the Gospel. As we lift Algeria before the Lord, we pray for His presence to move gently but powerfully across homes, families, and communities.
Prayer Focus:
- Pray that God’s Word will reach the hands, homes, and hearts of Algerians — that Scripture would be discovered, read, and treasured, bringing light where there has been spiritual dryness.
- Ask the Lord to strengthen believers facing pressure, that persecution would not silence them but instead embolden and multiply the Church with courage, wisdom, and unity.
- Pray also for equipped and compassionate Algerian followers of Jesus to arise — men and women filled with grace and truth — proclaiming Christ faithfully across cities, villages, and desert pathways. May Algeria encounter the peace of Christ and the transforming hope of the Gospel.
