Bible Society of Kenya is registered as a Society owned by members. Membership is open to Christians, Churches and Corporate Organizations. Currently the Society has about 1,000 Members. Once you become a Member you will receive a BSK membership Certificate. In addition Corporate, Joint-Life and Full- Life Members also receive a badge and a membership card. Corporate, Joint-Life and Full- Life Members can also be nominated into the BSK Board through the general election and are also eligible to vote. You can use the card to buy bibles at a members discount in BSK Bookshops. The Associate members becomes members of Bible Eagles Club and have an annual event.
WHO BECOMES A MEMBER
- Members must believe in the total authority of the Word of God in their lives and in the lives of all people.
- To become a member, a person fills a prescribed form and send it together with the appropriate membership fees.
- Every individual Christian, Church and a corporate organization with a desire to serve God by supporting our Vision, Mission and Mandate
DUTIES OF BSK MEMBERS
- To support the Society with prayers
- To educate Churches and individuals in their areas about Bible Society work and needs.
- To recruit more Society members in Churches, professionals and organizations in their Counties.
- To raise funds for Bible work
- To market or distribute Scriptures
- To take part in the National Annual General Meeting (NAGM) and elect members of the Board of Governors
- To determine the direction of growth of the Society
- To participate in BSK activities
- To participate in BSK NAGM
