Students elated after receiving New Testaments

BSK has been privileged to work with various partners that desire to see the Word of God reaching different parts of the nation and beyond. The Society was blessed to host and partner with Team Jesus, a fellowship based in the United States, to reach out to the vulnerable in our community.

Team Jesus anchors their ministry on Matthew 25:35-40 ‘I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me.’  Through their ministry, the team has reached many communities with God’s word as well as responding to other challenges faced in the community as Jesus would have done.

Their two weeks stay in Kenya saw them visit several places including visiting Nazareth Joy Children’s Home, Church visits (Free Pentecostal Churches of Kenya and Buruburu Church of God), School visits in Embu, Meru, Machakos, and Nairobi Counties where they distributed New Testaments, Crocs, Computers, and Sanitary towels. 

We thank God that together with our partners like Team Jesus we continue to share the love of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and to avail His Word to many that are yet to be reached.
