Can you imagine how the world would be when everyone has a Bible?The society would be transformed right?

Do you know that there are people who have never read the Bible due to poverty, ignorance, or low literacy levels? Yet some have the Bible but have no time to read it, hence the Word does not achieve its intended purpose in their lives.

As an interdenominational organization, the Bible Society of Kenya has been on the front line to ensure that Scriptures are accessible to all corners of Kenya. Through our Faith Comes By Hearing programme (FCBH) we have managed to reach many with God’s word. The FCBH programme avails the good news in audio formats and in different local languages.

Audio Bibles are packaged in attractive formats and can be listened to in groups. In the groups, people listen, discuss, follow up, and share testimonies on the impact of the Bible in their lives. In a group, one gets refreshed, relationships are built, and spiritual growth is experienced.

In July, we conducted sensitization workshops and listening groups which helped to unite families. We also received reports of people getting saved and persons with special needs witnessing the impact of listening to the word.

We further partnered with Kenyatta National  hospital where we gave them audio Bibles for patients in different wards.They appreciated the gesture as it will help inspire hope in God despite their current circumstances.
