The third cohort of catalysing leaders programme has successfully seen 34 young leaders successfully complete the nine leadership modules done in a period of six-months.
The programme aims at equipping young leaders with biblical values, skills, knowledge and mentorship to become authentic, relational and transformational leaders with accountability and integrity. Throughout the training, the young leaders acquire skills, knowledge, and mentorship to become authentic, and impactful leaders.
The mentorship component has demonstrated significant progress, with most mentors successfully conducting at least six dedicated sessions with their mentees. These focused interactions are actively contributing to the mentees’ development into authentic, catalytic, and transformed leaders.
Reflecting on the impact of the training, one young leader, Daniel Mwazi, shared his key takeaway: “I have learned the importance of practicing Servant Leadership—a form of leadership that incorporates love, care, and compassion, directly inspired by the story of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet.”
We thank God for the opportunity to invest in the lives of young leaders who will bring positive change in our society.
