The Bible Society of Kenya (BSK) successfully executed two significant Bible Eagles Club (BEC) engagement events in the third quarter.

Nyeri BEC Event

A second successful BEC event was held on August 9, 2025, in Nyeri, gathering 442 children from 16 local Churches. Prior to this, the Nyeri branch organized a Sunday school teachers’ training, equipping 32 teachers with enhanced knowledge and skills for teaching children during the event and in their Churches.

PCEA Ruiru Presbytery Partnership

In collaboration with 12 parishes of PCEA Ruiru Presbytery, BSK hosted a large-scale BEC fun day on August 23rd, 2025. The partnership began with Church visits to promote the event, recruit, and distribute Scriptures. The vibrant event attracted over 3,000 participants, resulting in 2,063 children registering as junior BSK members.

Both events provided children with an engaging programme that included Scripture recitation, dance competitions, bouncing castles and outdoor activities. All attendees received Scripture materials, including the Gospel of John and the Luke journal Bible. Winners of the Scripture recital categories were formally recognized and awarded. These events mark a vital investment in equipping the future generation with God’s Word.
