The Bible Society of Kenya, in partnership with the Master’s Empowerment Programme, successfully held the Open the Book programme on November 10th and 11th, 2025, in Githurai 45, Nairobi.
The programme was designed to teach children Bible stories through drama. A total of 421 children participated, experiencing Bible stories brought to life via storytelling, acting, and interactive group sessions.
The success of this initiative was significantly driven by the dedicated BSK team led by Dorah Oloo, the programme officer and the invaluable support from a committed group of volunteers. Their coordinated efforts ensured a meaningful experience for the children, who greatly enjoyed the sessions and promised to bring a friend to the next event.
