Availing Gods Word to Children in Marginalized Areas

The Bible Society of Kenya held a successful fundraising dinner on October 2nd 2026, at Movenpick Hotel to support the distribution of Bibles to children in marginalized communities across Kenya.

Did you know that many children in Kenya cannot afford to buy a Bible as their families struggle to meet basic needs, including water, food, and education?  This means that their spiritual needs often go unmet. These children have immense potential, yet they lack the Bible, a vital source of hope and guidance.

The fundraising dinner brought together partners willing to give generously so that students in marginalized communities could receive Bibles and engage with God’s Word.
Through this initiative, the Society aims to offer children hope and biblical truths that will cultivate godly values in their lives now and in the future.

The General Secretary, Mrs. Elizabeth Muriuki, lauded all the Council members, staff, friends, partners, and suppliers who came on board to support this noble cause. She noted that when children are exposed to God’s word from a young age, they grow up to be responsible and make wise decisions in life.

We thank all the guests who made the fundraising dinner successful. Your generosity will go a long way in helping more children from marginalized communities in Kenya to experience God’s love!
