Joyful faces after receiving the book of John

We thank God for the opportunity to distribute His word to marginalized children in Taita Taveta County from 19^th – 22^nd July 2022 where we reached over 4,800 children in 25 schools.

Taita County is a marginalized County where more than 55% of the residents spend less than one dollar a day, according to Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) 2019 report.

Most of the children in the schools we visited have never had Bibles in their lives as their parents cannot afford to buy, yet it is a requirement for the Christian Religious Education (CRE). The principal of the school greatly appreciated Bible Society of Kenya for the Bibles promising that the students score in CRE will improve.

We received heart-warming testimonies from students in various schools as shared below.
