On July 23rd, 2026, a team from Bible Society of Kenya joined the International Leadership University (ILU) team led by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tim Kiruhi for strategic talks on collaboration.

The engagement focused on bringing together stakeholders from different spheres to address pressing issues affecting the boy child, as well as challenges around fatherhood and substance abuse in our society. Various professionals were present, including psychologists, pastors, trauma healing facilitators, and organization founders.

Where each shared unique approaches ranging from therapy and rehabilitation, to correcting cultural biases, and highlighting the critical role of the Church in providing guidance, healing, and accountability. There was a strong consensus that no single sector can tackle these issues alone, and that a united approach is necessary.

Salvation was affirmed by all present stakeholders as the unifying factor and foundation for transformation. We thank the Lord for such timely partnerships that speak directly to the pertinent issues affecting families and communities, and we pray that this collaboration will bring healing, restoration, and hope.
