Did you know that Jesus speaks in all languages? I thought you should know. Are you also aware that some people are not able to read God’s word but can listen and understand?
Well, it is always blissful and faith-building to listen to God’s word. He calls us to grow in the knowledge of His son Jesus Christ daily. We do so by repeatedly hearing the Word. It is in this calling that the Bible Society of Kenya extends an invitation to people to engage with God’s word through the Programme Faith Come By Hearing Programme centered on Romans 10:17 – So faith comes from hearing and hearing through the word of Christ.

One would ask. How does the Programme rollout? Through audio Scriptures. Yes, the spoken word of God put in radio-like gadgets. The Scriptures are mostly given to groups formed by committed persons who are ready to listen to the word at least once a week and share testimonies on the impact in people’s lives.
In these unprecedented times, people need hope more than ever. What a season to be able to reach out to people with the word of God in their language. It is always refreshing when we receive tantalizing and uplifting testimonies of what God is doing through this programme in different parts of the Country.
We invite you to join us in impacting people’s lives through audio Bibles as the Lord enables you.
“My mum had not touched her hardcopy Bible for the longest time l know because of her eyesight. She went through some surgeries and seeing became problematic. Once she received a Kimeru Talking Bible, she could not hide her joy. She can engage with God’s word now. Thank you, Bible Society of Kenya. Your work is amazing.” Emily Metha.
As a family, we enjoy the deep Taita vocabulary in the Talking Bible. It’s so amazing. We now get the word in our hearts.” Janet
The Faith Comes By Hearing Programme has greatly impacted lives in my Luhya community. It has closed any gap created by illiteracy. People who did not access formal education are now able to hear the word of God in our local language-Ololuhyia, understand it deeply, and share with others. ”Loice Mukitsa.
Joseph is a night watchman who lives in Kibera slums. He doesn’t go to Church yet. He loves God but he can’t read the Bible due to illiteracy issues. He is happy to receive the audio bible to learn God’s word even at night during his duty. He is so thankful to the Bible Society of Kenya for facilitating this wonderful gadget.” Pastor Fidelis Wambua.
