Celebrating the Day of The African Child

The countdown has begun! We are excited to celebrate the Day of the African Child 2026 in Embu County under the theme:

“Universal Access to Water and Sanitation”

This year’s celebration is a powerful reminder that every child deserves dignity, safety, and equal access to essential services that support their growth and wellbeing.

Through meaningful conversations, child-led activities, WASH education, child protection awareness, life skills sessions, and partnerships for children, we continue to amplify children’s voices and strengthen collective action for a better future.

Together, we can create communities where every child matters and every voice counts.
