We will be holding a dinner on 5th September 2009 to support the Work of Bible Translation in Kenya at Intercontinental Hotel, Starting at 6.00PM. The Charges are Ksh. 3,000 per person and Ksh.5,000 per couple  

COST OF TRANSLATION

The Bible has 31,101 verses, 23,145 in the Old Testament and 7,956 in the New Testament.Translation of each verse costs Ksh. 480 on average. We have ongoing translation projects for the following Language People: -Kikamba (New)
-Oluluyia (Central)
-Lukakamega/ Lutirichi
-Kiembu-Kimbeere
-Kalenjin Revision

You Can Participate by translating one of the following catagory for one of the language above for the next one year::

200 verses            -               Kshs 96,000
100 verses            -               Kshs 48,000
50 verses               -               Kshs 24,000
25 verses               -               Kshs 12,000
